This is a full-time, permanent role , working Monday to Friday, 08:00 16:00 , where you'll partner closely with operational leaders and the Contract HR Manager to support the delivery of a high-quality people service across a multi-site contract .As part of this role, you'll regularly engage with both GXO and customer stakeholders, supporting business objectives through effective people solutions, strong employee relations management and proactive HR support. You'll also have line management responsibility for two HR Administrators , ensuring a consistent and effective HR service is delivered across the contract.Pay, benefits and more:Were looking to offer a salary of £36,120.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Youll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!What youll do on a typical day:Provide expert guidance and support to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management cases, ensuring compliance and consistency across the contractSupport recruitment and onboarding activities across operational and management populations, helping to attract, retain and develop talent within a fast-paced logistics environmentPartner with operational leaders to support workforce planning, organisational change, shift pattern reviews and business initiatives, ensuring people solutions align with operational requirementsDeliver coaching and training to managers on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation, building capability and confidence across the leadership populationContribute to employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives while supporting wider HR projects and deputising for the Contract HR Manager when requiredWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Previous HR Advisor experience within a logistics, warehousing, transport or similarly fast-paced operational environmentStrong knowledge of UK employment legislation, employee relations processes and best practice HR managementExperience supporting multi-site operations, with the ability to manage competing priorities and build effective relationships across geographically dispersed teamsProficiency in HR systems, Microsoft Office applications and ideally time and attendance and payroll systems, with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrityCIPD Level 5 qualified (or above), with excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills and a full UK driving licenceWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chainsTPBN1_UKTJ
