What you will be doing
\nThe Senior Engineer will work alongside the wider project team, stakeholders, external teams and supply chain partners to deliver on earthworks, piling, groundworks and drainage, structural steel, cladding and general construction packages.
\nAs Senior Engineer you will also be responsible for the following:

- Management accountability for the site engineering function \n
- Review technical drawings, specifications and other contract documents not limited to buildability, commercial viability and programme and ensure all are kept up to date \n
- Ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control of the works within specified tolerances is achieved \n
- Commission and manage any external surveys required \n
- Prepare applications for permits and licences to statutory undertakers and Government agencies \n
- Ensure all site activities are undertaken in compliance with the Company’s SHEQ policies and procedures \n
- As appropriate, oversee site personnel ensuring inductions, approved risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are in place \n
- Define and develop the scope of the Temporary Works Consultant appointment \n
- Define and develop the temporary works schemes that are required for the project \n
- Implementation and compliance with the Company’s temporary works procedures \n
- Ensure that the works comply with the requirements of the specification and drawings \n
- Produce, approve and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), that are required to control the quality of the works, ensuring accurate and up to date records are maintained \n
- Compile compliance reports that are required to assure the quality of the work \n
- Management input into the works programme and site logistics \n
- Monitor progress and report against the same \n
