Job Description
Are you a passionate and experienced piano teacher looking to inspire students across Twickenham and Richmond? We're seeking a talented self-employed piano teacher to join KM Music School, offering engaging lessons in students' homes or from your own home.
\nAbout the Role:
\nTeach music lessons in students' homes within the Twickenham, Hampton and Richmond areas.
\nInitial part-time hours: 1-2 days per week (typically 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.), with potential for expansion.
\nCompetitive pay starting at £35 per hour.
\nThis is a self-employed position.
\nWhat We're Looking For:
\nGrade 8 or higher in your primary instrument/voice (certified by a recognised music board).
\nAt least 2 years of teaching and performance experience.
\nConfidence in teaching students of all age groups and skill levels, up to Grade 8 and beyond.
\nStrong communication skills to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
\nCreativity, determination, and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their musical goals.
\nReliable transport for travel to student homes.
\nU.K. permanent residency and an updated DBS certificate.
\nA Bachelor's degree is preferred.
\nIdeally you will live in the Twickenham/Hampton/Richmond area.
