Job Title: Business Analyst (18 month contract)

Key Responsibilities:

\n


\n

1. Requirement Gathering (Primary Focus)

\n
    \n
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to gather, document, and validate requirements for change initiatives
  • \n
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements suitable for delivery teams
  • \n
  • Challenge and refine requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and alignment to business objectives
  • \n
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, testing, and delivered outcomes
  • \n
\n


\n

2. Documentation & Artefact Management (Primary Focus)

\n
    \n
  • Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation, including:
  • \n
  • Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
  • \n
  • Test logs and test tracking documentation
  • \n
  • Entry and exit criteria for testing phases
  • \n
  • Ensure all documentation is clear, structured, and consistent across projects
  • \n
  • Own version control and governance of project artefacts
  • \n
\n

3. Testing Coordination

\n
    \n
  • Coordinate testing activities across multiple stakeholders and teams
  • \n
  • Ensure test plans are defined, agreed, and executed in line with requirements
  • \n
  • Manage test progress, defect tracking, and resolution follow-up
  • \n
  • Act as the central point of coordination between business testers and delivery teams
  • \n
\n

4. Process Mapping & Improvement (Project-Specific)

\n
    \n
  • Capture and document current state (AS-IS) processes
  • \n
  • Support the design and documentation of future state (TO-BE) processes
  • \n
  • Produce clear process maps aligned to project requirements
  • \n
  • Ensure process changes are understood, practical, and aligned to business outcomes
  • \n
\n


\n

5. Stakeholder & End User Communication

\n
    \n
  • Act as a key point of contact between project teams and end users
  • \n
  • Communicate requirements, changes, and updates in a clear and structured manner
  • \n
  • Support user understanding of changes and gather feedback where needed
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships across operational and delivery teams
  • \n
\n


\n

6. Progress & Status Reporting (Primary Focus)

\n
    \n
  • Provide structured updates on project progress, risks, and blockers
  • \n
  • Produce regular status reporting for initiatives (excluding those led directly by senior leadership)
  • \n
  • Ensure transparency of delivery status across stakeholders
  • \n
  • Escalate risks and issues appropriately
  • \n
\n

\n
