Responsibilities include:

\n

\n

  • Producing detailed suitability reports and recommendations across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning
  • \n
  • Providing technical support and guidance to Financial Advisers
  • \n
  • Analysing client information and conducting in-depth research
  • \n
  • Assisting with complex cases and bespoke financial planning solutions
  • \n
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with FCA regulations and internal standards
  • \n
  • Supporting and mentoring junior paraplanners where required
  • \n
  • Liaising with advisers, administrators, and providers to ensure smooth case progression
  • \n

Skills and experience required:

\n

\n
    \n
  • Proven experience in a senior paraplanning role
  • \n
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and financial planning
  • \n
  • Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4) essential (or close to completion)
  • \n
  • Excellent report writing and analytical skills
  • \n
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • \n
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively
  • \n
  • Experience using financial planning software and back-office systems
  • \n
