\n

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile workstream involving the migration of a significant institutional client onto a large-scale investment servicing platform.

\n

Working as part of a multidisciplinary Agile pod, you will help define the future operating model, identify gaps within the existing product and oversee the delivery of the enhancements required to support a successful migration.

The role\n

You will act as the Product Owner for a dedicated delivery pod, working closely with client stakeholders, Operations, Technology and the wider Product team.

\n

Your responsibilities will include:

  • \n
  • Working with stakeholders to understand business and client requirements
  • \n
  • Assessing gaps between the client’s operating model and the existing platform
  • \n
  • Translating requirements into user stories, features and product enhancements
  • \n
  • Managing stories through refinement, development, testing and implementation
  • \n
  • Supporting the product elements of a large-scale client migration
  • \n
  • Working closely with distributed Technology and Operations teams
  • \n
  • Managing competing priorities and making informed delivery trade-offs
  • \n
  • Identifying risks, dependencies and issues across multiple workstreams
  • \n
  • Providing regular updates to senior internal and external stakeholders
  • \n
  • Measuring the effectiveness of product changes following implementation
  • \n
  • Recommending improvements to existing processes and the customer experience
  • \n
The background\n

This role could suit an established Product Owner or someone who has progressed into Product Ownership from a Business Analysis, Project Management or Change background.

\n

Previous Transfer Agency experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Applications are welcomed from candidates across financial services, including:

\n
    \n
  • Asset management
  • \n
  • Wealth management
  • \n
  • Banking
  • \n
  • Pensions
  • \n
  • Insurance
  • \n
  • Investment operations
  • \n
  • Financial technology
  • \n
\n

You should be able to demonstrate:

\n
    \n
  • Previous Product Owner or product delivery experience

  • \n
  • Experience managing backlogs, user stories and delivery priorities
  • \n
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and client representatives
  • \n
  • Financial services experience
  • \n
  • A structured, organised and pragmatic approach to delivery
  • \n
\n

Experience supporting client onboarding, platform migrations or operating model change would be beneficial, although it is not essential.

Why apply?\n

This is a visible role within a growing product function, supporting a major transformation programme with a long-term delivery roadmap.

\n

You will have genuine ownership of a defined workstream, regular exposure to senior stakeholders and the support of an experienced Product Manager and wider delivery team.
