Job Description: As the Social Housing damp & mould Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our social housing properties. You will lead a team of maintenance technicians and oversee all repairs and maintenance tasks particularly damp and mould, ensuring that our tenants receive the best possible service and live in well-maintained properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
\n
• Prioritize and schedule repair and maintenance tasks based on urgency and tenant needs.
\n
• Inspect properties regularly to identify maintenance and repair requirements.
\n
• Coordinate and manage contractors for larger repair projects.
\n
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, as well as associated costs.
\n
• Collaborate with property management to address tenant concerns and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
\n
• Monitor and manage the maintenance budget effectively.
\n

Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or trade qualifications preferred.
\n
• Proven experience in maintenance and repairs within a social housing or property management environment.
\n
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
\n
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
\n
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
\n
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
\n
