Application Analyst (Microsoft Intune & Application Packaging)£450 PD | Inside IR35 | 3 to 6 Month Contract | Hybrid (London – 3 days | ASAP StartOur trusted public sector partner is delivering a large-scale Windows 11 desktop transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Application Analyst to support the rollout of a modern endpoint management environment across a large device estate.You'll play a key role within the Microsoft Intune and Autopilot workstream, ensuring applications are packaged, tested and deployed to a consistent standard while working closely with technical teams, third-party suppliers and business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:\n

• Manage UAT activities, including test scripts, defect tracking and business sign-off.
\n
• Package, deploy and manage Windows applications using Microsoft Intune.
\n
• Configure deployment policies, detection rules, dependencies and assignment groups.
\n
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for application deployment.
\n
• Work with third-party suppliers and internal teams to support application delivery.
\n
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and deployment records.
\n

Key Skills & Experience:\n

\n
• Strong Microsoft Intune application packaging and deployment experience.
\n
• Windows 10/11 endpoint management.
\n
• PowerShell scripting.
\n
• Experience configuring Intune application policies, detection rules and dependencies.
\n
• Managing UAT and application testing.
\n
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
\n
• Technical documentation and defect management.
\n

Desirable:\n

\n
• Microsoft Autopilot deployment profiles with experience configuring and supporting Windows Autopilot deployments, including how device provisioning and profiles integrate with application delivery through Intune.
\n
• Understanding of Entra ID group and how they are used to control application deployments, policies and access within Intune.
\n
• App Protection Policies (MAM) - knowledge of Microsoft Intune security controls, including application protection policies, mobile application management and securing corporate data on managed devices.
\n
• NDES/SCEP certificate deployment - exposure to certificate-based authentication and device certificate deployment within an enterprise environment.
\n
• Experience working on desktop transformation or windows 11 rollout programmes.
\n
• Public sector or local government experience.
\n
