Outreach Tutor - St HelensThe Opportunity\n

Prospero Teaching is recruiting committed Outreach Tutors to support children and young people across St Helens through flexible 1:1 tuition.

This role involves working with learners who may be accessing alternative provision, awaiting a school placement or experiencing barriers to mainstream education. You'll deliver tailored tuition while helping students rebuild confidence, develop positive learning habits and achieve meaningful educational progress.

Experience, Training and Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will have:

    \n
  • \n

    Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or mentoring

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH or those who are disengaged from education

    • \n
  • \n

    QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)

    • \n
  • \n

    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

    • \n
To be eligible, you must:\n

  • \n

    Hold the Right to Work in the UK

    • \n
  • \n

    Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one

    • \n
  • \n

    Provide two professional child-related references

    • \n
