Our client, a thriving student accommodation provider, is searching for a proactive and reliable Temporary Handyman to support their on-site team with day-to-day repairs and general maintenance.

• Carrying out a range of reactive maintenance tasks to a high standard, including basic plumbing, joinery, carpentry, and occasional painting/decorating.
\n
• Moving furniture and handling heavier items across the site as needed.
\n
• Maintaining lighting, completing statutory checks, and ensuring safe, functional spaces.
\n
• Responding effectively to health & safety issues.
\n
• Keeping maintenance reports updated using electronic systems.
\n
• Monitoring stock levels and notifying management when materials, tools, or equipment need replenishing.
\n

• Hands-on experience within residential repairs/maintenance or a background in trades such as plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry.
\n
• Handyman/Caretaker/Maintenance/Trade experience
\n
• Someone equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
\n
• A strong awareness of health & safety standards.
\n
• A positive, can-do attitude with good initiative.
\n
• Friendly, helpful, and professional at all times.
\n
