Project Manager – Refurbishments & Backlog Maintenance

London | 6 months | £400 per day (outside IR35)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a busy estates projects team within a large NHS organisation.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing minor works, backlog maintenance projects and cyclical works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple projects across London
\n
• Lead feasibility studies and develop project briefs with stakeholders
\n
• Produce specifications
\n
• Manage contractors, consultants, and on-site works
\n
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality of delivery
\n
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and health & safety requirements
\n
• Provide regular project updates to senior stakeholders
\n

About You

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong technical and stakeholder management skills.

Essential:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in construction, engineering, surveying, or related discipline
\n
• Proven experience delivering projects in a healthcare environment
\n
• Strong budget management and commercial awareness
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
\n
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
