Science Teacher – Birley Academy, Sheffield

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Birley Academy to recruit a Science Teacher on a flexible supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about Science and committed to helping students achieve their full potential across Key Stage 3 and 4.

The role includes:• Delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4• Planning and adapting lessons to meet learner needs• Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment• Assessing, marking, and providing timely feedback• Managing behaviour in line with school policies• Collaborating with colleagues across the Science department

We’re looking for candidates who:• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification• Have experience teaching Science at secondary level• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills• Communicate effectively and professionally• Hold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour• Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
