Our client is a growing technology solutions provider supporting businesses with workplace technology, collaboration tools and technical services. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Technical Support Engineer to join their expanding support team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in IT support, customer service, technology or a recent technical qualification who wants to develop their career within a fast paced and varied environment. You'll support customers with technical queries, helping to diagnose issues, resolve problems and ensure external users receive an excellent service. You'll also gain exposure to a wide range of workplace technologies, with full support and training provided to develop your technical knowledge.Key Responsibilities:\n

- Provide first line technical support to customers through telephone, email and remote support tools. \n
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, ensuring problems are managed through to completion. \n
- Log, update and maintain accurate records of support cases. \n
- Communicate clearly with customers throughout the support process. \n
- Assist with system checks, preventative maintenance and technical improvements. \n
- Support senior members of the technical team with more complex issues. \n
- Maintain documentation and contribute ideas to improve service delivery. \n
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, customers and external partners. \n

- Strong problem solving ability and logical approach to troubleshooting. \n
- Confident communication skills with the ability to support customers professionally. \n
- Good organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. \n
- Comfortable learning new technologies and systems. \n
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. \n

- Experience using ticketing or service management systems. \n
- Exposure to workplace technology, collaboration tools or hardware support. \n
- Technical qualifications or relevant training. \n
