We’re looking for a proactive and experienced HR Assistant or Advisor to deliver a comprehensive, generalist HR service across a dynamic multi-site organisation. This role partners closely with managers and employees, providing pragmatic, solutions-focused advice across the full employee lifecycle.

You’ll play a key role in supporting operational teams, ensuring consistent HR practices, and helping drive a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

The Role

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide HR support across a designated site
  • \n
  • Provide expert HR advice on employee relations, performance, and absence
  • \n
  • Support investigations, meetings, and HR casework
  • \n
  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
  • \n
  • Manage probation reviews and contractual changes
  • \n
  • Advise on family-friendly policies and employee entitlements
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate HR systems and employee records
  • \n
  • Support HR training initiatives and manager capability
  • \n

About You

\n

You’ll be a confident and organised HR professional with strong communication skills and a proactive approach.

\n

  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • \n
  • Confident influencing and building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • \n
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR Admin, Assistant, or Advisor role
  • \n
  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 (or working towards) – preferred but not essential
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of workload
  • \n
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • \n

This is not a role where you'll be limited to one area of HR. You'll gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle, partner with a range of stakeholders, and be involved in day-to-day operational HR challenges.
