Job Description
As a SEN Tutor, you will:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sessions that meet the needs of students. \n
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. \n
- Record student progress and report on this weekly. \n
- Be understanding, empathetic and patient. \n
- Record attendance. \n
- Be organised, dependable and creative. \n
- Be calm, fair and adaptable. \n
About you:

- Experience working with young people in UK schools \n
- Background in SEN education or alternative provision- desirable but not essential \n
- Confident delivering Maths and English \n
- Empathetic, reliable, and calm under pressure \n
- Able to build trusting relationships and foster a love of learning \n
- Experience of working with young people with SEMH needs \n
Position - Tutor based in DT8 Contract or position start date - ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Full time/part-time - Opportunities for both Hours - Up to 15 Hours per week- for the right candidate, this can be increased to full time.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL \n
- Experience of working with learners with SEN/SEMH needs \n

To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

- Hold right to work in the UK \n
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application \n
- Provide references upon request \n
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this) \n
