\nAWS Architect
\nWe are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions. As the AWS Subject Matter Expert, you will provide technical leadership across cloud transformation initiatives, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned to business objectives.
\nWorking closely with architects, engineers, project teams, and stakeholders, you will define cloud strategy, establish best practices, and drive the adoption of AWS services, automation, and governance frameworks. You will play a key role in cloud migrations, application modernisation, infrastructure design, and the implementation of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\nDesign and deliver AWS cloud architectures and landing zones.
\nProvide technical leadership and architectural governance across projects.
\nLead cloud migration and modernisation initiatives.
\nImplement and promote Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
\nEnsure AWS environments meet security, compliance, resilience, and performance requirements.
\nDrive automation, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices using AWS DevOps tools and GitHub Actions.
\nCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to develop cloud strategies and roadmaps.
\nMentor engineering teams and act as the escalation point for complex AWS-related challenges.
\nKey Requirements:
\nProven experience in AWS Solution Architecture or Cloud Architecture roles.
\nStrong knowledge of AWS networking, compute, storage, security, identity, and governance services.
\nexperience with cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation, and hybrid cloud environments.
\nHands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, AWS CLI, and CI/CD pipelines.
\nExpertise in services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, and Route 53.
\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
\nAWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are highly desirable.
