ECHO Personnel is recruiting an experienced CNC Setter for a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing company based in Corby.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional to join a successful and growing business offering a permanent position within a modern manufacturing environment. The role is suited to an experienced engineer who takes pride in producing high-quality components while maintaining excellent standards of accuracy, efficiency, and safety.

Salary:
\n £35 per annum (depending on experience)
\n Additionally £1,800 annual attendance bonus paid monthly (£150 per month)

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Set and prepare CNC milling and CNC lathe machines for production
  • \n
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately
  • \n
  • Carry out quality inspections using precision measuring equipment
  • \n
  • Use Vernier callipers and other measuring tools to ensure components meet required standards
  • \n
  • Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot machining issues during production
  • \n
  • Maintain high levels of quality while working to production schedules
  • \n
  • Ensure machinery is operated safely and efficiently
  • \n
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
  • \n

Requirements:

\n
    \n
  • Minimum 3 years experience working as a CNC Setter
  • \n
  • Experience setting both CNC milling and CNC turning (lathe) machines
  • \n
  • Previous experience using HAAS and Fanuc control systems
  • \n
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
  • \n
  • Experience using Vernier callipers and precision measuring equipment
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality components
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment
  • \n
  • A proactive and reliable approach to manufacturing and problem-solving
  • \n
