\nThe House of Genesis – Operations Manager \n
\nThe House of Genesis is a Norwich based Christian charity that provides accommodation, support and advice to adult ex-offenders and homeless men. The charity is recruiting an Operations Manager, who will provide operational leadership and management focusing on staff and volunteer development, organisational compliance, positive outcomes for residents and financial management. \n
\nKey Responsibilities \n
\nLeadership & Service Delivery: Working with the Board of Trustees to set and achieve organisational objectives, focusing on preventing homelessness and delivering successful & safe support ensuring compliance with all policies. \n
\nFinancial & Operational Management: Managing budgets, ensuring the long-term future of the charity. \n
\nPartnership: Developing productive, collaborative relationships with partners. \n
\nHousing & Compliance: Ensure all properties meet all safety & HMO requirements. \n
\nRequired Qualifications & Experience \n
\nLeadership Experience: Experience of managing a team and volunteers ideally in supported housing, homelessness, or working with prison leavers. \n
\nEmpowerment & change: The ability to empower people to make positive changes, showing empathy whilst maintaining professional boundaries \n
\nF inance: \n
\nExperience of managing budgets, fundraising and identifying opportunities to maximise income. \n
\n
\nKey Priorities \n
\nPreventing homelessness and a return to offending \n
\n \n
\nDeliver good quality, effective support to residents \n
\n \n
\nTeam leadership, management and development \n
\n \n
\nSupporting charity governance \n
\n \n
\nThe successful candidate will require an enhanced DBS check to be undertaken \n

\nBased in Norwich \n
\n37 Hour working week \n
\nSalary range £35k to £38k \n
