\n

Our client is based in Woking recruiting for an experienced Operations Coordinator.

\n

\n

This is a role that turns a client instruction into a scheduled, priced, completed and invoiced job. If you've coordinated engineers in a trades or maintenance business and want more ownership than a pure scheduling role gives you, this is a step up.

\n

\n

Key Duties:

\n
    \n
  • Building and optimising the diaries for our engineering teams across multiple trades, balancing geography, skills and job duration to keep the day running efficiently
  • \n
  • Managing a remote bookings team, setting daily priorities and keeping client response times on track
  • \n
  • Building quotations from engineer reports and site findings, sourcing materials pricing from suppliers, and following quotes through to approval
  • \n
  • Acting as the day-to-day contact for our letting agent clients — updates, access issues, escalations
  • \n
  • Allocating labour time to jobs so costing stays accurate, and raising invoices on completion
  • \n
  • Working with QS on measured works and variations
  • \n
  • Handling the live disruption: overruns, no-access, emergencies and sickness
  • \n
\n

\n

Requirements:

\n
    \n
  • Experience coordinating, scheduling or managing operations in utilities, property maintenance or facilities management
  • \n
  • Commercial awareness — you can put a quote together and spot when a job isn't priced right
  • \n
  • Confident dealing with clients and engineers alike, and comfortable holding your ground with both
  • \n
  • Genuinely organised, and calm when the phone doesn't stop
  • \n
  • Someone who fixes the process rather than firefighting the same problem every week
  • \n
