Senior Financial Accountant

Senior Accountant (4-6 Month FTC) £70,000 to £80,000 | Regent's Park, London | Hybrid (4 days office / 1 day home)A growing, multi-site business is looking to appoint a Senior Accountant on an initial 4-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will need to be available to start as soon as possible and hit the ground running.This is a hands-on role focused on helping the finance team become fully audit ready, strengthening financial controls and improving the integrity of the balance sheet as the business continues to grow.Key responsibilities Lead audit preparation and support the external audit process.Drive balance sheet, bank and general ledger reconciliations.Resolve historic reconciliation backlogs and improve financial data integrity.Prepare monthly management accounts and support month-end close.Strengthen financial controls, governance and supporting documentation.Work closely with the wider finance team to leave the function in a stronger position.About you ACA or ACCA qualified.Proven track record of supporting multiple external audits.Strong experience with balance sheet integrity, reconciliations and financial data clean-up projects.Comfortable getting into the detail and solving complex accounting issues.Experience within a multi-site or multi-entity business would be highly advantageous.Available to start immediately or at very short notice.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coming into a business, making an immediate impact and helping build solid financial foundations during a period of growth.TPBN1_UKTJ
