A leading engineering and design consultancy is looking for an experienced Associate Director - Town Planning to join their team in London or Epsom.This is an excellent career development opportunity for an experienced planning professional looking to progress to the next level within one of the UK's leading planning consultancies, working at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure and development across areas including Net Zero, ESG, Biodiversity Net Gain, and digital transformation.Responsibilities of Associate Director - Town Planning:Act as Planning Lead on projects across a range of markets and sectorsLead bid preparation, tender submissions, and framework responsesAct as lead consultant on multi-disciplinary projects, taking responsibility for project management and deliveryLead coordination and delivery of EIA, options appraisals, and environmental management across multi-disciplinary teamsEngage with market and client leads to support business growth and development opportunitiesSupport commercial and resource management of projects, bids, and local teamsChampion high standards of technical delivery, influencing project development and delivering optimal environmental outcomesMentor and support junior colleagues within the planning teamEssential Requirements for Associate Director - Town Planning :Relevant Planning degree with RTPI membership or working towardsChartered experience with a track record delivering major infrastructure projectsExperience leading large-scale TCPA applications and holding lead roles within DCO, Hybrid Bill, Highways Act, or TWAO processesComprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental technical expertiseExperience in Strategic Planning and Planning policyStrong commercial coordination and project management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrable ability to develop and maintain client relationshipsHighly self-motivated with strong commitment to delivering sustainable outcomesTPBN1_UKTJ
