Our client, a well-established and highly respected housebuilder, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a new residential housing development in Inverness.

\n

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the development, ensuring homes are built safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

\n

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Manage the day-to-day running of a new housing development from site set-up through to completion.
  • \n
  • Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve programme milestones.
  • \n
  • Ensure homes are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and workmanship.
  • \n
  • Monitor build progress and proactively address any issues that could impact programme or budget.
  • \n
  • Maintain strict compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
  • \n
  • Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and subcontractor meetings.
  • \n
  • Work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the development.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate site records, reports, and project documentation.
  • \n
  • Promote a positive site culture focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Previous experience managing residential housing developments as a Site Manager.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of traditional and timber frame housebuilding methods.
  • \n
  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors while delivering against programme.
  • \n
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • \n
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations within housebuilding.
  • \n
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications are essential.
  • \n
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • \n
