\nWe are seeking an inspiring SEN Maths Teacher to join our dedicated and passionate team at a well-regarded Pupil Referral Unit, recently rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED.
\nAbout Us
\nOur school provides a supportive, alternative education for young people who need it most. We work with pupils across KS4 (Years 10 & 11), including those on long-term placements and those who have been excluded from mainstream education.
\nWith small class sizes (maximum of 40 pupils on roll) and a highly skilled support team, we focus not only on academic achievement, but also on helping our students develop confidence, emotional resilience, and positive behaviours.
\nEvery day, we aim to create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where pupils can thrive.
\nThe Role
\nWe are looking for a dedicated and engaging Maths Teacher who can inspire learners and help them succeed both academically and personally.
\nThis is a part-time role (3 days per week), ideal for someone seeking flexibility while making a meaningful impact.
\nWhat You’ll Be Doing

- Deliver engaging KS4 Maths lessons that inspire and motivate \n
- Support pupils with diverse needs to build confidence and independence \n
- Set and maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement \n
- Use strong behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment \n
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies \n
- Play an active role in our supportive and close-knit team culture \n

- Experience teaching Maths at KS4 level \n
- A confident and resilient approach to behaviour management \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills \n
- A creative, engaging teaching style that resonates with all learners \n
