\nMorson Edge is supporting the recruitment of an Aircraft Mechanical Supervisor to join a military aviation team supporting Hawk aircraft depth maintenance at RAF Valley.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aircraft engineer or supervisor looking to combine hands-on engineering with leadership responsibility within a highly respected defence aviation programme. Working within a structured maintenance environment, you will support aircraft availability, technical standards, and team performance while developing your supervisory and leadership capabilities.

Shift Pattern
\n- \n
- Monday – Wednesday: 07:00 – 17:00 \n
- Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30 \n

\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Undertake and supervise aircraft depth maintenance and diagnostic activities \n
- Carry out inspections, repairs, modifications, and system testing \n
- Analyse and diagnose faults on aircraft systems and components \n
- Support maintenance delivery against operational and programme requirements \n
- Provide technical leadership and support to maintenance technicians \n
- Promote best practice and a proactive maintenance culture within the team \n
- Carry out compliance-related support activities including tooling control and oversight checks \n
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with approved procedures and Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) requirements \n
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and regulatory compliance \n
Essential Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Previous hands-on aircraft engineering or mechanical maintenance experience \n
- Strong engineering knowledge and fault diagnostic capability \n
- Experience working within safety-critical or regulated maintenance environments \n
- Ability to lead, influence, and support maintenance personnel \n
- Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills \n
- Commitment to high standards of safety, quality, and professional conduct \n
- Eligible to obtain and maintain BPSS and SC Security Clearance \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Completion of a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally Aeronautical Engineering or military equivalent \n
- City & Guilds 2675 Aeronautical Engineering & Maintenance or NVQ Level 3 in an Aeronautical discipline \n
- Aircraft platform training relevant to the fleet \n
- Trade Principles training \n
- Good IT competency \n
