Trainee Class 2 Driver - Start as a Drivers Mate\n
Location: Barton-Upon-Humber\n
£13.15 per hour | £32,822.40 - £37,609 (avg hours)\n
Rising to £16.75 per hour I £41,808pa - £52,260pa OTE\n
Temp-to-Perm | Full-Time | Early Starts (4am6am)\n

About the Role\n
\nYoull begin as a Drivers Mate in a 2-person crew, delivering to customers homes:\n
\n
    \n
  • Assist with heavy, physical lifting and delivering items to the room of choice
  • \n
  • Make customer phone calls with delivery ETAs and log deliveries
  • \n
  • Ensure all items are scanned and accounted for
  • \n
  • Support the driver and learn the daily routine of a Class 2 role
  • \n
  • Report any parking/access issues to the transport team
  • \n
  • Maintain high standards of safety, timekeeping, and customer service
  • \n
  • Shifts start between 4am and 6am
  • \n
  • Expect up to 10 - 12-hour shifts (averaging 48 hours per week)
  • \n
  • Youll need your own transport to get to site
  • \n

What Youll Need\n

  • A can-do attitude, great communication, and willingness to learn
  • \n
  • Physically fit this is a demanding, hands-on job
  • \n
  • Maximum of 6 points on your licence (no DD, CU80, or IN)
  • \n
  • A DBS check will be required before starting
