Technical Lead - Azure Cloud Infrastructure

Global entertainment & hospitality provider now requires a Technical Lead - Azure Cloud to define and drive their cloud and infrastructure strategy.

This role will design new a new cloud architecture strategy, moving our clients on prem infrastructure to an Azure cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver cloud and infrastructure strategy, architecture, and engineering standards.
\n
• Design scalable, secure cloud solutions and lead cloud migration initiatives
\n
• Establish governance, security, and compliance frameworks (eg IAM, encryption, risk management).
\n
• Drive adoption of cloud-first and serverless approaches using modern PaaS and DevOps tooling.
\n
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to optimise performance, cost, and innovation.
\n
• Own and maintain the cloud and network technology roadmap.
\n

Experience Required

\n
• Strong background in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) in large-scale environments.
\n
• Proven experience leading cloud transformation and migration programmes.
\n
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (eg Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
\n
• Knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance standards (eg GDPR, ISO).
\n
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery frameworks.
\n
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and influence senior stakeholders.
\n

This is a permanent opportunity which provides a base salary of up to £90,000 + bonus + car allowance and package.

In terms of working structure, this role requires 4 days per week in West London and 1 day remote.
