The overhead line training specialist is responsible for delivering technical training for ESB Networks approvals, ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.Needs to HaveAt least three to five years experience with a proven understanding of Technical ESBN systems and processesExperience in power sector is a distinct advantageExcellent oral and written communicationsStrong organisational and planning abilityStrong leadership, coaching and mentoring skillsStrong knowledge and experience of safety protocols and precautions on ESBN OHLSafe PassFull Drivers LicenseNeeds to DoResponsible for selection of candidates to train for ESBN approvalsDelivering training and development of all roles that require ESBN approvals covering (theory & practical)Preparing candidates for the ESBN approvals course including theory & practical to ESB standardsTraining and Mentoring Linespersons/PICW/PICP/Machine Operators/TCO Operator/Work Organiser and PIW post approvalTo act as a point of contact for technical challenges, questions or queriesManagement of formal written & practical assessment processAbility to develop and implement new procedures and new requirements based on ESB requirementsManage ESB approval processLiaising with the client/ESBN for organising client training and assessmentsEnsure all training logs associated with candidates ESBN Approval process are completed correctly and in a timely manner to submit ESBN in advance of assessmentsResponsible for liaising with relevant stakeholders on safety, logistics, organisation of training, updates on training and management of approvalsEnsure competency assessments are completed post approval along with identifying and completing further training that may be required post assessments.Responsible for delivering practical training on-site which may require travel nationwideEnsure all training is compliant with current legislation and company standardsAny other duties as assignedNeeds to beMust take ownership for tasks and responsibilitiesAble to effectively operate in a dynamic and fast paced organisationProven organisational and planning skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and deliver presentationsHave integrity and be professional at all timesProvides mentorship and guidance to all trainees or approval holdersFosters an inclusive and diverse training environment that enables all participants to contribute to their full potentialTPBN1_UKTJ
