Job title: HR AdvisorLocation: Swindon only ( 2 days a week onsite Wednesday and one other day)Job Duration: 3 monthsSecurity Clearance: BPSS eligibleJob details:We are seeking an experienced HR professional who can demonstrate broad generalist HR expertise, confidently apply HR policy to real-life scenarios, and provide practical, solution-focused advice from day one. As this is a short term role, client need someone who can work independently and confidently in these areas.your main responsibilities will be to:* Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of people-related matters, policies and procedures.* Manage and support employee relations casework, including absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases.* Coach and influence managers to ensure consistent, compliant and pragmatic people management decisions.* Build strong stakeholder relationships across HR, business areas and external service providers.* Support continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance HR processes, guidance and ways of working.* Analyse HR data and trends to identify insights and recommend appropriate actions.* Contribute to HR projects, organisational change activities and learning initiatives as required.* Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies.Essential:* Relevant experience working within an operational HR environment.* CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience and knowledge.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence, challenge and support stakeholders at all levels.* Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and manage competing demands.* Strong judgement and decision-making skills within policy and procedural frameworks.* Proven ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate within a team.
