Due to continued growth, they are looking for someone with previous engineering or fabrication experience to join their workshop team.This role would suit someone who has worked within an engineering or manufacturing environment and is looking to develop their skills further within a busy and supportive workshop.DutiesAssisting with the manufacture and assembly of metal componentsReading and working from basic engineering drawingsMeasuring, marking out and preparing materialsOperating hand and power tools safelyGrinding, deburring and finishing fabricated partsDrilling, cutting and preparing materials for productionSupporting Fabricators and Welders with day-to-day workshop activitiesOperating workshop machinery following trainingCarrying out quality checks on completed workLoading, unloading and moving materials around the workshopMaintaining a clean, organised and safe working environmentFollowing all health and safety proceduresSkills RequiredPrevious experience within an engineering, fabrication or manufacturing environmentConfident using hand and power toolsAble to read basic engineering drawings (preferred)Good attention to detailPractical and hands-on approach to workReliable with a strong work ethicAble to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to learn new skills and develop within the businessFLT or overhead crane experience would be advantageous but is not essentialTPBN1_UKTJ
