We're looking for someone with fresh ideas, energy and the ambition to build something.The Role Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll take responsibility for the Quality Management System and become the focal point for all quality-related activities across the business.You'll lead a small quality team comprising:Quality EngineerGoods In/Out InspectorInspectorKey responsibilities include:Maintaining and developing the AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management SystemLeading customer, internal and third-party auditsManaging non-conformances, CAPA and root cause investigations (8D, 5 Why)Supporting FAIRs, inspection and metrology activitiesManaging supplier quality and customer quality issuesDriving continuous improvement and implementing modern, data-driven quality processesWorking closely with Production and Engineering to improve manufacturing performanceBuilding a positive quality culture across the businessAbout You We're far more interested in attitude and potential than job title.You'll ideally have experience within:AerospacePrecision EngineeringCNC MachiningDefenceHigh-specification manufacturingYou'll also have experience of:AS9100 and/or ISO9001FAIRs and inspection processesRoot cause analysisInternal auditsEngineering drawings and GD&TContinuous improvementMost importantly, you'll be someone who:Wants to take ownershipEnjoys solving problemsBuilds relationships across the shop floorEmbraces technology and innovationWants to progress into a senior leadership roleWhy Join?
