Production MIG Welder

An opportunity for a Production MIG Welder within a well-established fabrication and sheetmetal company in Nelson, Lancashire.The Company:Established in 2003, this family run Group employs approximately 35 employees. Their teams provide an all-round design, laser, fold, and fabrication service to a broad customer base.Due to continued growth and winning some long-term contracts they are looking for Production Welders to join a small friendly Fabrication team.RolePRODUCTION WELDERMust have MIG manufacturing experience.Be physically fitHave experience of producing small and large fabrications to an accurate standardAbility to lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines to a high standardSafe use of power tools e.g., grinder, pistol drill, tapping drillAbility to work to a production pace within a factory settingThere may be some JIG work to help improve production efficiencyAbility to communicate, ask questions and discuss any issues which may cause production delaysUpdate computer records and complete timesheetsT hey are looking for a helpful individual with experience in production welding.Working Hours:Monday Thursday 8:00am - 16:30Friday8:00am 14:00Overtime Available.Starting Rate £15-16 per hour30 Days Leave (+1 After 5 years)Company Overalls/Contributory Pension Scheme/Laundry Service/Staff Days OutIf you feel that you have the relative skills/attributes to fulfil this role then please apply now for immediate consideration.The employer fully supports Equality in Employment.
