About UsCahill Corporation Ltd T/A Cahill Renewables is a rapidly growing renewable energy company based in Colchester, specialising in the design and installation of Solar PV, Battery Storage and Renewable Energy systems across domestic, social housing and commercial sectors.Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our installation team.The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Solar PV and Battery Storage installations, electrical testing, commissioning, fault finding and maintenance works across a variety of projects.You will be required to report to our Colchester yard each morning to collect equipment and materials before travelling to site.RequirementsMinimum 1 years' experience working within the Solar PV industryNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation18th Edition Wiring RegulationsECS Gold Card (preferred but not essential)AM2 qualification (or working towards)Full UK Driving LicenceStrong understanding of Solar PV systems and associated electrical worksAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanshipSolar PV Installation qualification (preferred but not essential)Battery Storage installation experience (preferred but not essential)Testing & Inspection qualifications (2391 or equivalent)(preferred but not essential)Experience with major inverter and battery manufacturers such as Fox ESS, Sigenergy, Tesla and SolarEdge is an advantagWhat We OfferSalary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum basic + overtime depending on experienceCompany vanFuel cardCompany pension scheme28 days holiday including bank holidaysCompany uniform and PPEOngoing training and development opportunitiesOpportunity to join a growing business with long-term career prospectsLocation RequirementApplicants must live close to Colchester, as daily attendance at our Colchester yard is required.DBS Check and H&S Training required to be carried out before starting due to contract requirementsTPBN1_UKTJ
