Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries.'Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled GNC (Guidance, Navigation & Control)*Developer/Algorithm*Engineer to support the development of autonomous navigation capabilities for rover platforms. The role focuses on designing, validating, and integrating advanced algorithms that enable intelligent, on-board decision-making in challenging environments.Key ResponsibilitiesAlgorithm DevelopmentDesign and develop advanced GNC algorithms for autonomous rover navigationImplement capabilities to enable real-time, on-board decision-making and autonomyEnsure robustness and reliability of algorithms for operation in complex terrainsSimulation & PrototypingDevelop and maintain numerical simulation models to validate algorithm performanceIntegrate GNC algorithms with rover sensor systems and hardware interfacesSupport rapid prototyping activities using Robot Operating System (ROS 2)Testing & ValidationValidate algorithm performance within custom simulation environmentsConduct hands-on testing on full-scale prototype rovers, including:Indoor testing in controlled environmentsOutdoor field trials in realistic terrainAnalyse test results and iterate on algorithm performancePreferred Skills & Experience (optional to include if needed)Must have a strong background in robotics, control systems, or autonomous systemsMust have an experience with ROS / ROS 2Proficiency in simulation tools and algorithm development (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB)Experience working with sensor integration (e.g., LiDAR, IMU, cameras)Familiarity with field testing and real-world system validationIf you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website.TPBN1_UKTJ
