\nI'm currently recruiting a VP Front Office & Credit Risk Business Analysis Team Lead to join a leading global financial institution undergoing significant technology, regulatory and business transformation.
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Analysis leader who wants to combine people leadership with hands-on delivery, working at the intersection of Front Office, Risk and Technology.
\nPlease note: this role is specifically looking for a career Business Analyst in the finance sector. Candidates whose background is primarily Project Management, Product Ownership or Product Management are unlikely to be a fit.
\nYour responsibilities will include:

- Leading and developing a team of 7-9 Business Analysts \n
- Managing permanent and contract resources \n
- Conducting performance reviews and supporting career development \n
- Coaching and mentoring team members \n
- Gathering and defining business requirements \n
- Facilitating stakeholder workshops \n
- Supporting solution design, testing and implementation \n
- Acting as the bridge between Front Office, Risk and Technology teams \n
- Driving complex regulatory and business change initiatives \n
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and executive leadership \n
- Contributing to the future adoption of AI within Business Analysis practices \n
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong Business Analysis expertise with leadership capability, stakeholder management skills and a passion for developing people.
\nThe ideal candidate brings:

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Investment Banking or Capital Markets \n
- Previous people management experience (essential) \n
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing BA teams \n
- Strong Front Office exposure \n
- Strong Credit Risk experience (significantly more important than Market Risk) \n
- Excellent requirements gathering and business process analysis skills \n
- Strong stakeholder management across Business and Technology functions \n
- Experience operating in complex change and transformation environments \n
- Excellent communication and influencing skills \n
- A collaborative, proactive and growth-oriented mindset \n
