\nLocation: Slough\n
\nHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm\n
\nSalary: £27,184.83 per annum \n

\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established logistics and distribution company for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy warehouse team with full VNA Crane training provided .\n
\nKey Responsibilities \n
\n
\nOperating warehouse material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently, following all company procedures. Including Forklift and VNA Crane. \n
\nSafely unload inbound deliveries and move stock to designated storage and holding areas. \n
\nEnsure that inbound and outbound shipments are correct and not damaged or broken, reporting any quality issues to shift supervisor. \n
\nPick, prepare and loading customers’ orders, ensuring that all products are correct and the right quantities are dispatched. \n
\nCarry out order picking efficiently to meet customer service and productivity targets. \n
\nMove stock from storage and holding areas onto vehicles. \n
\nUse RF scanning equipment for picking, receiving and loading activities. \n
\nAssist with stock takes and physical inventory counts. \n
\nComplete daily equipment checks and inspections in line with company procedures. \n
\nReport any equipment faults or performance issues promptly to shift supervisors. \n

\nWhat We're Looking For \n
\n
\nValid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential). \n
\nPrevious experience working within a warehouse or distribution environment. \n
\nGood attention to detail and accuracy. \n
\nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. \n
\nStrong understanding of health and safety practices. \n
\nA reliable, positive and team-focused attitude. \n
