2D CAD HVAC Technician

Our client is an established Building Services consultancy. They require the support of a 2d Mechanical CAD draughtsman to work with an HVAC / mechanical department.

The purpose is to support the engineering team by producing new and revising 2d HVAC / Mechanical and Plumbing Health engineering mark-ups and drawings, using AutoCAD.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Create and amend basic 2D MEP drawings and layouts.
\n
• Update drawings based on engineer and project team feedback
\n
• Prepare plans, schematics, and installation drawings.
\n
• Maintain drawing records and file management systems.
\n
• Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and issued on time.
\n
• Assist with the preparation of as-built drawings.
\n

Skills & Experience\n

\n
• AutoCAD skills and experience producing 2D drawings.
\n
• Understanding of construction or building services drawings.
\n
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
\n
• Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
\n
• Able to work unsupervised.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction, Building Services, or a related discipline preferred.
\n
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
\n
