Role: HGV Class 1 Driver

Location: Grays

Hours: Full time (start any time during days and nights)

Salary: Starting from £20.16 PAYE days, £21.70ph nights, at least £23.05 or weekend days and £24.59 weekend nights. Guaranteed 8 hours per day!

Shifts: On-going agency

Driver Support Services have secured a new contract and are recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to work for a supermarket contract in their Grays Depot. The positions are for any HGV Class 1 Driver that has experience and is looking for either full-time or part-time work.

Day or night work is available 7 days a week

What we require:

• Class 1 driver license held and used for a minimum of 6 months
\n
• Must hold valid CPC and digital tacho-card
\n
• Strong communication and customer service skills
\n
• Ability to work either days or nights or weekends
\n

The role:

• Deliver stock from the DC to stores in the region in a safe, professional and cost effective way
\n
• Drive safely while obeying road rules and company policies.
\n
• Provide an efficient delivery service by helping offload stock into stores upon arrival.
\n
• Positively represent the company to the public and other road users
\n
