iOS Software Engineer
Job Description
iOS Software Engineer
\nLondon
\nFull time, Hybrid
\nThe Company:
\nThere are over 5 billion users using basic applications today such email, notes, tasks that are not AI-native. The mission is to build a proactive smart assistant for everyday users to bring intelligence to conversations, errands, organising and workflows with minimal prompting.
\nThe product focuses on achieving high reliability for long-running workflows, persistent context, and real-world task completion. The system must handle multi-step reasoning, interact with external tools, and remain reliable despite non-deterministic model behaviour. The objective is to help users enjoy completing daily tasks in over 90% reduced time.
\nThe Role:
\nAs an iOS Software Engineer, you own the iOS client experience, how AI feels, responds, and performs in users’ hands. This is not a thin integration role. You will build a production-grade iOS application where AI interactions are central to product experience, and performance, reliability, and user trust are critical.
\n- \n
- Build and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI. \n
- Integrate AI-powered features through backend APIs. \n
- Design UX patterns for AI interactions, including loading states, streaming responses, retries, and fallbacks. \n
- Optimize performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency. \n
- Capture user signals and feedback to support AI evaluation and iteration. \n
- Collaborate closely with backend and ML engineers on API design and system behavior. \n
- Maintain high App Store quality, stability, and production reliability. \n
Requirements:
\n- \n
- 3+ years of iOS development experience using Swift. \n
- Hands-on experience integrating AI-powered features into mobile apps. \n
- Strong understanding of async/await, concurrency, and background tasks. \n
- Solid iOS performance and memory optimization skills. \n
- Experience shipping and maintaining production iOS apps. \n
- Comfort designing for latency, partial failure, and non-deterministic AI behavior. \n
- Exposure to CoreML or light on-device ML. \n
- Familiarity with feature flags or remote configuration systems. \n
- Strong intuition for AI UX patterns and user trust considerations. \n
Outcomes:
\n- \n
- Stable, smooth, and reliable real-world use iOS applications. \n
- Performance is optimized: responsive, low-latency, and efficient on memory and CPU. \n
- Production issues are detected early, monitored effectively, and resolved with clear root-cause analysis. \n
Tech Stack:
\n- \n
- Swift \n
- SPM \n
- SwiftUI \n
- SQL / noSQL \n
- TensorFlow Lite (on-device inference) \n
The Team:
\nThe best products today in the world were built by small, world class teams. You will be joining a high talent density and hands-on team who make decisions collectively, move at rapid speed, striking a balance between shipping high-quality work and learning. Joining the team requires the ability to bring structure, exercise judgment, and execute independently. The collective goal is to give users a truly magical product.
