\nAre you a passionate and resilient Class Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people? Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with one of our valued Alternative Provision schools in Milton Keynes to recruit a dedicated teacher for a rewarding long-term opportunity.
\nThis nurturing Alternative Provision supports pupils who require a more personalised approach to education. Students may have a range of additional needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism (ASC), ADHD, anxiety, trauma, or behavioural challenges. The school is committed to helping every pupil overcome barriers to learning by providing a safe, supportive and engaging environment where they can thrive both academically and personally.
\nAs the Class Teacher, you will deliver an engaging and inclusive curriculum tailored to the individual needs of your pupils. With smaller class sizes and the support of experienced teaching assistants and pastoral staff, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, promote positive behaviour and help students develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.
The Role:\n- \n
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of your class. \n
- Differentiate learning to ensure every pupil can access the curriculum. \n
- Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment. \n
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues. \n
- Promote positive behaviour through consistent and restorative approaches. \n
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs and pastoral teams to support pupils' academic, social and emotional development. \n
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to achieve the best outcomes for every learner. \n

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. \n
- Experience teaching children or young people in either mainstream, SEN or Alternative Provision settings. \n
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. \n
- A patient, resilient and adaptable approach to teaching. \n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills. \n
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them overcome barriers to learning. \n
