Senior Electrical Compliance & Contracts ManagerLocation: Hertfordshire (Hybrid Working)£65k + Full Benifits PackageWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist contractor delivering electrical compliance, inspection, testing, maintenance and remedial services across large residential property portfolios.This is a senior leadership position with full responsibility for the operational, commercial, technical and compliance performance of a major electrical services contract. The successful candidate will oversee both planned and reactive workstreams, ensuring statutory compliance, excellent customer outcomes, financial performance, and achievement of contractual service levels.The role will suit an experienced contracts manager with a strong understanding of electrical compliance within social housing, residential estates, local authority environments, or similarly regulated sectors.The Role As Senior Electrical Compliance & Contracts Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of a diverse programme of electrical compliance and maintenance services including:\n

- Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) \n
- Electrical remedial works \n
- Rewiring projects \n
- Emergency lighting inspection and maintenance \n
- Portable appliance testing \n
- Lightning protection systems \n
- Solar PV inspection and maintenance \n
- Height safety equipment inspections \n
- Compliance-related corrective works arising from inspections and risk assessments \n
- \n
- Direct and oversee the day-to-day delivery of all inspection, testing, maintenance and compliance activities. \n
- Develop and manage planned maintenance programmes, cyclical inspections and reactive works schedules. \n
- Ensure all services are delivered in line with contractual requirements, industry standards and statutory legislation. \n
- Manage programme delivery to achieve completion targets and minimise overdue compliance activity. \n
- Coordinate multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining service quality and operational efficiency. \n

- Lead and develop supervisors, engineers, administrators, resident liaison staff and support teams. \n
- Manage workforce allocation, productivity, performance and competency requirements. \n
- Conduct regular reviews, coaching sessions and development planning for team members. \n
- Promote a positive, accountable and high-performing culture throughout the contract. \n
- Ensure qualifications, training records and compliance documentation remain current across the workforce. \n

- Act as the principal day-to-day contact for the client. \n
- Attend performance meetings and provide operational updates. \n
- Resolve issues and escalations within agreed timescales. \n
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and client representatives. \n
- Produce detailed performance reports covering operational delivery, risk, compliance and financial performance. \n

- Maintain accountability for contract profitability and budget performance. \n
- Monitor expenditure, forecasting and financial reporting. \n
- Manage quotations, variations and additional works submissions. \n
- Apply schedule-of-rates pricing mechanisms where required. \n
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost control. \n
- Ensure financial targets and contract margins are achieved. \n

- Ensure all works comply with current electrical regulations and industry standards. \n
- Oversee the production and issue of certification, inspection reports and compliance records. \n
- Manage corrective actions arising from inspections and audits. \n
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete and submitted within contractual timescales. \n
- Maintain robust quality assurance procedures across all service streams. \n
- \n
- Lead health and safety performance across the contract. \n
- Ensure risk assessments and method statements are prepared and reviewed. \n
- Oversee contractor and supplier compliance requirements. \n
- Support incident investigations and reporting processes. \n
- Ensure safe systems of work are implemented and maintained across all sites. \n
- Promote a proactive safety culture throughout operations. \n

- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent \n
- Inspection & Testing qualifications \n
- Current Wiring Regulations qualification \n
- IOSH, SMSTS or NEBOSH certification \n
- Relevant management or leadership qualification \n
