Site Supervisor - HighwaysLocation: Buckfastleigh, Devon (A30)Start Date: ASAP (August)Rate: £350-£450 per day (DOE)Were currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a major highways project in Buckfastleigh, Devon This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable contractor delivering key drainage and bridge deck works on a long-term infrastructure scheme.If you have a strong background supervising highways or civil engineering projects and are available to start immediately, we'd love to hear from you.The RoleAs Site Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. Youll coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and plant while working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to keep the project moving forward.Key Responsibilities* Supervise drainage and bridge deck construction works.* Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in line with company procedures.* Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials.* Deliver daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inspections.* Monitor progress and report updates to the Site Agent and Project Manager.* Maintain accurate site records and documentation.* Ensure work is completed to specification and programme.* Promote a positive health and safety culture across site.Requirements* CSCS Gold Card (minimum)* SSSTS or SMSTS* First Aid at Work* Previous experience supervising drainage and bridge deck works.* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skillsIf interested, please email your CV to or give me a call on 07759129756.TPBN1_UKTJ
