Location:Epping, Essex
\nWe are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Drivers to join a well-established and growing logistics operation based in Epping. This is a temp to perm night shift position offering consistent work, modern vehicles, and excellent earning potential.
\nThis role involves nightly trunking to a distribution hub in Birmingham with no multi-drop deliveries, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy straightforward, scheduled work.

- £44,000 per annum, based on a 50-hour working week \n
- Guaranteed minimum 10 hours' pay per shift \n
- Night shifts with start times between 7:00pm and 9:00pm \n

- Complete scheduled trunk runs between Epping and the Birmingham distribution hub. \n
- Carry out daily walk-round vehicle safety inspections and report any defects. \n
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. \n
- Accurately complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records where required. \n
- Comply with all Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive, and tachograph legislation. \n
- Secure loads correctly and ensure vehicles are operated safely at all times. \n
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism. \n
- Keep vehicles clean and report any maintenance issues promptly. \n
- Follow company health and safety procedures and road transport legislation. \n

- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence \n
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card \n
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card \n
- Good understanding of Driver Hours Regulations and tachograph rules \n
- Excellent knowledge of UK road safety legislation \n
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering a high standard of work \n
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively \n

- Previous Class 1 trunking or RDC experience \n
- Experience with curtain-side trailers \n
- Good geographical knowledge of UK road networks \n
