\nHere at GXO, were looking for a motivated Planning Optimisation Manager to join our BAE Systems site based in Blackburn. You will be responsible for informing, influencing and guiding planning decisions across three critical areas:

- Demand Alignment \n
- Supply Alignment \n
- Forward Planning \n
This is an 18-Month FTC, position working Monday Friday 09:00 17:00, 37.5 hours per week.

- Effective representation of GXO Logistics within BAE's Planning function \n
- Improved alignment between manufacturing plans and logistics capability \n
- Improved supplier conformance and inbound material flow \n
- Enhanced planning visibility and forecasting accuracy \n
- Delivery of planning optimisation initiatives and measurable business benefits \n
What you need to succeed at GXO:
\n- \n
- Experience within Defence, Aerospace, Manufacturing or other complex operational environments would be advantageous but is not essential. We welcome candidates who can bring fresh thinking and transferable planning, supply chain or logistics expertise from other sectors \n
- Lean, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement qualifications \n
- Project management experience \n
