Breakfast & After school club playworker

Sun and Moon breakfast &after school club are looking for Qualified Applicants,

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, Playwork, Teaching Assistant, Education or a related subject

• Previous experience working with children.

Must be well-organised, enthusiastic, and flexible with good communication skills.

Playworker Responsibilities

• Supervise children in a safe and engaging environment.

• Plan, prepare and participate in a range of age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, sports, games, outdoor play and team-building activities.

• Encourage children's confidence, independence and social development.

• Support children with varying needs, ensuring every child feels included.

• Follow safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour management procedures at all times.

• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

• Assist with setting up and clearing away activities and equipment.

• Respond appropriately to accidents, incidents or concerns in line with safeguarding procedures.
