Job Description
Working on behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing engineering contractor delivering mechanical projects across the UK Water sector.
\nKey Duties
\n- \n
- Managing multiple mechanical projects from award through to completion. \n
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives. \n
- Planning and monitoring project programmes to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget. \n
- Managing project costs, variations and commercial performance. \n
- Carrying out regular site visits across the UK to oversee project progress and resolve issues. \n
- Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures. \n
- Producing project reports, programme updates and project documentation. \n
- Liaising with clients, consultants and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle. \n
- Managing procurement of materials, plant and subcontractors where required. \n
- Supporting project commissioning, handover and completion. \n
What we are looking for
\n- \n
- Previous experience delivering mechanical projects within the UK Water industry. \n
- Mechanical engineering background. \n
- Experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, or a Project Engineer/Site Manager looking to progress into Project Management. \n
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. \n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Organised, proactive and capable of working independently. \n
- Willingness to travel to sites across the UK. \n
- Full UK Driving Licence. \n
