We're partnering with a leading global organisation to appoint a Group Manager - Compliance (Europe). This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance specialist with strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, data privacy, anti-bribery and corruption, and corporate compliance programmes to join a highly collaborative European team.

The Opportunity

\n

Reporting into senior compliance leadership, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the European compliance framework across multiple jurisdictions. This position offers broad exposure to compliance, governance, data protection, third-party due diligence, training, investigations, and policy development.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Support due diligence activities relating to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and third-party engagements.
  • \n
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and identify process improvement opportunities across European operations.
  • \n
  • Assist in the implementation and continuous maintenance of data privacy frameworks, including privacy impact assessments and records management.
  • \n
  • Develop, review and update compliance policies and procedures in line with evolving regulatory requirements.
  • \n
  • Research and monitor European regulatory developments, ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable legislation.
  • \n
  • Support compliance training programmes, awareness campaigns and reporting analytics for leadership teams.
  • \n
  • Create practical compliance resources, guidance notes, case studies and learning materials for employees.
  • \n
  • Collaborate closely with regional stakeholders and global compliance teams to promote a strong culture of ethics and compliance.

About You

\n

To be successful in this role, you will likely have:

\n
    \n
  • A degree in Law, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • \n
  • At least 5 years' experience within a compliance, legal or regulatory environment, ideally in a multinational organisation.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR, UK Bribery Act requirements, anti-bribery and corruption regulations, competition law and economic sanctions.
  • \n
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • \n
  • Strong project management, organisational and analytical abilities.
  • \n
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and cultures.
  • \n
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills.
  • \n
  • Fluent English, with additional European languages considered advantageous.
  • \n
