Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Southampton area

Salary: Circa £65k

Job Type: Permanent (Hybrid)

I’m recruiting for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a leading consumer goods business developing complex, high-performance electronic products.

This role will suit an experienced electronics engineer with a strong background in digital circuit design, high-speed electronics, PCB design, prototyping and EMC/ESD compliance. You’ll work across the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through to test, validation and manufacture, as part of a collaborative R&D team.

Key Skills

• Digital circuit design, including microprocessors, DSP, FPGA, DAC/ADC, Ethernet or DDR memory
\n
• High-speed digital design
\n
• Analogue electronics and power supply design
\n
• Schematic capture and PCB layout
\n
• Prototype bring-up, debugging and bench testing
\n
• EMC, ESD and design compliance
\n
• ECAD experience, ideally Altium
\n
• Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar
\n

Experience with RF technologies such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi would be beneficial.
