Senior Reserving Actuary
\nLondon | Hybrid (3 days in the office) | Permanent
\nUp to £120,000 + 25% Bonus + Excellent Benefits
\nI'm partnering with a leading global insurer to recruit a Senior Reserving Actuary into its Global Reserving team.
\nThis is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly respected actuarial function responsible for one of the market's largest global reinsurance portfolios, managing approximately $3bn of reserves. Working as part of an international team spanning London and the US, you'll play a key role in reserving, regulatory reporting and the continued transformation of the global reserving function.
\nThe Role
\nYou'll be responsible for delivering high-quality reserving analysis while helping drive innovation and process improvement across the team.
\nKey responsibilities include:
\n- \n
- Deliver quarterly reserve reviews and actuarial analysis. \n
- Prepare, validate and analyse reserving data. \n
- Manage actuarial data within the MRD reporting environment. \n
- Support annual regulatory reporting. \n
- Contribute to global reserving and transformation projects. \n
- Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies. \n
- Lead workstreams and project initiatives, depending on experience. \n
About You
\nI'm keen to speak with qualified or nearly qualified actuaries with strong experience within General Insurance Reserving.
\nEssential experience:
\n- \n
- General Insurance or London Market reserving. \n
- Strong SQL skills. \n
- Experience using ResQ. \n
- Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Ability to work collaboratively within a global team. \n
Experience with Alteryx, Python and Databricks would be highly advantageous.
