\nIf that sounds like you then we have a fantastic opportunity to discuss. Leading the product management function for the commercial lighting division of a world leading brand. Product management experience is ideal; whether from the lighting sector or from NPD roles in commercial interior fit-out/construction; but we'd equally love to hear from candidates coming from product sales, product development, or lighting design, provided you have a solid understanding of the technical and commercial side of the lighting sector.
\nYou will be responsible for both the effective management of the existing portfolio, but with a real key focus on NPD. Scoping opportunities for ranges and working in conjunction with both pricing and product engineering/concept to take opportunities through to fruition. Outside of NPD this will be a standard PM role, where you will manage the full lifecycle in and out.
\nDay to day your key responsibilities will be:

- Product portfolio management & product roadmap strategy for the commercial sector \n
- NPD/Product innovation – specifying and delivering new products/value propositions/credible business cases \n
- Competitor insight & research \n
- Customer engagement both in the UK and internationally to develop qualitative market insights \n
- Working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams for launch campaigns \n
- Presenting new products to internal teams and international partners ahead of official launch, as well as providing thorough training on features and benefits \n

\nThe position is suitable for both upcoming and established product professionals from lighting, fit-out, product sales, product development, or lighting design backgrounds; provided you bring a solid grasp of technical and commercial lighting specification, along with the right approach and attitude.
\nThe position is hybrid based out of Harlow 3 days per week, and comes with an extensive, generous benefits package. This company is easily commutable from locations such as Bishops Stortford, Harlow, Cambridge, St Albans, Chelmsford, Cheshunt, Hertford, Enfield, London and Welwyn Garden City.
