This role sits within the Commercial finance team & supports the financial performance of Warehouse & Distribution. Youll report to the Senior Finance Analyst (Distribution) and work closely with the operations teams and Supply Chain stakeholders to provide accurate reporting, analysis and insight that supports decision-making.Here's the exciting bit…A day includes:

· Support month-end processes for Warehouse & Distribution, including cost tracking & reconciliations· Working with Warehouse, DC and Transport teams to review weekly costs, explain movements and support day-to-day decision-making· Assist in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations· Supporting fleet-related accounting and lease reporting, as well as contract spend analysis to help track performance against plan· Providing ad hoc analysis and insight for senior stakeholders across Supply Chain and Finance, helping the business understand performance and identify opportunities.This job is a good fit for you if:· You enjoy working with numbers and solving problems in a fast-paced, operational environment.· You like to add value through accuracy, curiosity and a willingness to get into the detail.· You are good at building relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues.· You can easily manage competing priorities and stay organised when deadlines are tight.· You have developed the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a range of stakeholders.What youll need:· A working knowledge of Excel and be comfortable handling and analysing data.· Some experience in finance, reporting or analysis, ideally in a commercial or operational environment· Excellent attention to detail with a can do attitude.· Strong organisational skills & time management.· Be working towards a financial professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA.· Experience of working with operational stakeholders, contract spend analysis, or lease and fleet-related costs would be helpful, but just as important is the ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively.
